CTD #493

Hi everyone!
I'm joining the colour challenge at Color throwdown, and these are the colours to play with this week:

I used distress inks and did some ink blending, and this very cute stamp is from    A Muse Studio.

Hope you like it!

Hello everyone!
Today I'm entering another colour challenge, this time at Less is more.

I used a stencil from Clear scraps, and a stamp from Panduro. Then I used a die with a background "shadow" (don't remember the brand), and my distress oxide inks (oooh how I love those, they are so easy to apply). It was hard, but then I decided to NOT make ink splatter on the background to keep the card panel clean and simple. However, there's always room for some glitter right? If you look closely on the sentiment you can see a little sparkle from my wink of Stella clear glitter brush.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

You are awesome!

Hello everyone!
I hope you're enjoying the weekend. Today I'm showing a card with an encouraging sentiment, and I think it's quite versatile. You can use it as a birthday card or why not for mother's day, I know many awesome moms:)
I started to make the background with distress oxide ink, hickory smoke, the stamp is from Boho dreams, Kaisercraft, and I did some paperpiecing with paper from Lawn fawn on the bow. "You" and "are" are from MFT but I really can't remember from which brand I got the "awesome" die... I finished the card with a few silver glitter enamel dots.

Take care!

Hello everyone!
Today I'm playing over at Color Throwdown, they have a new colour challenge every week, and the colours for this week are coral, green, kraft and white:
I personally associate those colors with a more flowery theme, but since I don't have so many stamp sets with flowers at all, I tried to think out of the box here... And I'm quite pleased with the result. I used a stencil with versamark ink and white embossing powder on kraft cardstock, and it actually worked out a lot better than I expected at first, cause some of the stars were really teeny tiny. I sprayed the background with a mix of perfect pearl gold and water, and of course it warped, so I adhered some fun foam on the back of it. Then I used stars and a sentiment from a stamp set from MFT; stars above, and coloured them with distress ink. The sentiment I stamped on a piece of vellum to it make pop a little against the background.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate you take the time!
Hugs, Jenny

Hello!
This challenge at "Less is more" is a sketch challenge. I used a paper pad; perfectly plaid rainbow, and a die set; simply puffy cloud frames, from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is from Jillibean soup. I masked off the clouds so I could splatter some gold ink in a kind of controlled way, I didn't want the ink to be all over the place:). Here's the sketch:

And here's my card:
