Two amigos!

Hello!

I hope your having a great day. I have wednesdays off, and I always try to make time for my crafts. For me it's a kind of rest when I am able to focus on a project for a couple of hours. Today however, I had a lot of other things to do, like defrost my freezer (it's so cold here in Sweden that I feel like I have to defrost my brain...), go to the pharmacy, grocery shopping and so on... Finally I could sit down, and inspired by the colour scheme over at Color Throwdown I put together this card with stamps ("two amigos") from mama elephant/hampton art.

Hello everyone!

So, when you're colouring, you're supposed to get better. Apparently, that isn't the case for me, lol! I struggle, oh how I struggle with different media (alcohol markers, distress inks, water colours) to try to get a little bit closer to the result I want. Ah well, I still love making cards and I will keep on colouring and perhaps one day....
Today I'm showing a birthday card with a stamp set from mama elephant - cub cuddles, it's so cute. I've also used an embossingfolder, distress oxide inks (ink smooshing is so fun), and a stamp set from lawn fawn - Happy Happy Happy. I finished off with some wink of stella on the banner and enamel dots.

Long time no see...

Hello everyone!

Thanks for stopping by. Today I'm showing a CAS card. I stamped the flower with distress oxide ink and then added just a little bit of water on the right side of the image, to give it a "watery colour" look. I really like the effect:)
